I create a wide array of mostly garden pieces, constructed entirely from scrap iron and steel from local sources. Raw materials come from junkyards, scrap yards, farmers' discard piles, auctions, and flea markets. My work evolves from what I'll find next - and the search itself is half of the challenge and fun. There are so many scrap heaps out there, each with its own personality and each with objects particular to it. I simply try to transform objects of little or no value into things that will make me, and hopefully others as well, smile. Of course there are those who would say I am simply rearranging junk piles! |

Most of my creations are unpainted metal, ranging in size from a few inches high, up to five feet tall. They include flowers, people, and animals - realistic as well as imaginary. I also have painted abstract sculptures, some of which reach seven feet tall. My work encompasses a variety of original designs and ideas for your garden or home.
I will be exhibiting my work at a limited number of art shows during the summer. When I have finalized my show schedule, I will post it on this website.
